Summary:The clutch has outer and inner shells (1, 2) comprising surfaces provided with corresponding grooves or recesses. The grooves or recesses define ramps for radially pushing needles (3) or rollers into the grooves or recesses, and the needles or rollers are arranged between the inner and outer shells. An actuating device e.g. pin, is arranged at the inner and outer shells, and is selectively movable between two positions. The needles or rollers are caused to be moved on the ramps in one of the positions of the actuating device for exerting a radial force on the shells. Die Erfindung betrifft eine bidirektionale Freilaufkupplung (ORBDC), die verwendet wird als Getriebesynchronisiereinrichtung oder als Koppler oder als beliebige Anwendung zwischen einer relativ beweglichen inneren Welle oder dergleichen und einer äußeren Welle, einem Zahnrad oder einem anderen koppelbaren Element, das außerhalb der ORBDC liegt.
