The method for treating water in water circuits of swimming pools in the area of basin during cleaning of filters or sanitation of shower systems, comprises displacing microbial loaded water after terminating a filter stage with hydrogen peroxide in a predetermined concentration, supplying the mixture to a catalyst arrangement, and treating the water with chlorine, sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide and/or other chlorine disinfectants or hydrogen peroxide and/or with UV-radiation. The treated water is introduced into the basin area and the hydrogen peroxide is added to the loaded water. The method for treating water in water circuits of swimming pools in the area of basin during cleaning of filters or sanitation of shower systems, comprises displacing microbial loaded water after terminating a filter stage with hydrogen peroxide in a predetermined concentration, supplying the mixture to a catalyst arrangement, and treating the water with chlorine, sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide and/or other chlorine disinfectants or hydrogen peroxide and/or with UV-radiation. The treated water is introduced into the basin area. The hydrogen peroxide is added to the loaded water in a quantity such that the concentration is 1 mg/l. A precious metal-free, corrosion resistant, all metal catalyst is used as catalyst arrangement. Verfahren zur Behandlung von Wasser in Wasserkreisläufen von Schwimmbädern, insbesondere im Beckenbereich, bei der Reinigung von Filtern oder bei der Sanierung von Duschsystemen, indem mikrobiell belastetes Wasser nach dem Verlassen einer Filterstufe mit Wasserstoffperoxid vorgebbarer Konzentration versetzt wird, das Gemisch anschließend durch eine Katalysator-Anordnung strömt, danach das Wasser mit Chlor und/oder Natriumhypochlorid und/oder Chlordioxid und/oder anderen chlorhaltigen Desinfektionsmitteln oder Wasserstoffperoxid und/oder mit UV-Strahlung behandelt wird, und das so behandelte Wasser entweder in den Beckenbereich und/oder in den Zulauf zum Filter eingebracht und/oder zur Spülung von Wasserleitungen und/oder Duschsystemen verwendet wird.
