Summary: | The method involves detecting a load (6) in a motor vehicle and/or a change of the load on the basis of an analysis of a shuffle length (3) of wheels (VR, HR), which occurs during braking and/or acceleration of the vehicle and/or during a turn of the vehicle. The load in the vehicle and/or change of the load are detected by comparison of an up-to-date determined shuttle length with predefined reference values of the shuffle length. A vehicle transverse and longitudinal acceleration and/or a turning radius (R) are considered during the analysis of the shuffle length. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product has a set of instructions to perform a method for recognizing a load of a motor vehicle.
