Summary:The connector (1) has a cable channel (10) partially covered by a channel cover (5) and provided for airbag lines. A position securing device (6) and the cover are formed as sections of an integral housing body (2), where the sections are connected movably relative to each other. The housing body has a deformable material bridge (7), which connects the securing device and the channel cover. The material bridge is formed as an integral hinge. The securing device and the cover are aligned with each other in a securing position. Die Erfindung betrifft einen kurzschließbaren Airbagstrecker (1) mit einer Positionssicherungseinrichtung (6) und mit einem von einer Kanalabdeckung (5) wenigstens teilweise abgedeckten Kabelkanal (10) für die Airbagleitungen. Um einen kostengünstig produzierbaren Airbagstecker herzustellen, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die Positionssicherungseinrichtung (6) und die Kanalabdeckung (5) als relativ zueinander beweglich verbundene Abschnitte eines einteiligen Gehäusekörpers (2) ausgebildet sind.
