The drive has a drive motor (4) with a motor shaft (5), and a wiper shaft (14) coupled with the motor shaft through a gear unit. The gear unit has a spindle gear (12) coupled with the wiper shaft through a power transmission linkage (15) which comprises a bar (16). The spindle of the spindle gear is formed by an external thread section of the motor shaft. The thread section is positioned directly in the lateral surface of the motor shaft. The bar of the linkage is flexibly connected with an attachment which stands in contact with the thread section. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Scheibenwischerantrieb (1) mit einem eine Motorwelle (5) aufweisenden Antriebsmotor (4) und mit einer Wischerwelle (14), die über eine Getriebeeinrichtung mit der Motorwelle (5) gekoppelt ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die Getriebeeinrichtung ein Spindelgetriebe (12) umfasst, das über ein mindestens eine erste Stange (16) aufweisendes Kraftübertragungsgestänge (15) mit der Wischerwelle (14) gekoppelt ist.
