Summary:The arrangement (10) has a seat (18) and a rotatable tube (22) that is fastened to a bottom (14) of a vehicle (12). The seat is pivoted between a folding position and a stowing position, in which the seat is partially stowed into a recess. The seat is provided in a perpendicular position between the folding and stowing positions. A torsion rod is attached to the tube, where the rod is freely rotatable and is operatively connected with the seat. The rod provides preload torques to pivot the seat from the stowing position or from the folding position to the perpendicular position. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a stowable seating arrangement with a seat that is utilized in a vehicle.
