The connection is designed as, quick connection, producible without screws and without tools. INDEPENDENT claims are also included for the following: (1) a seat adjusting device of a vehicle seating e.g. motor vehicle seating (2) a method for the assembly of a functional component of a vehicle seating. Um eine sichere und trotzdem schnell zu montierende Verbindung von Funktionskomponenten eines Fahrzeugsitzes, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugsitzes (1), wie einem Elektromotor (6), einer Getriebeeinrichtung oder dergleichen, am Fahrzeugsitz, zu erzeugen, durch die die Funktionskomponente mit einem Strukturteil des Fahrzeugsitzes wirkverbunden ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Verbindung als schraubenlose und werkzeuglos erzeugbare Schnellverbindung ausgebildet ist.
