Summary: | The fuel injector (10) has a nozzle needle (16) that bounds a control chamber (60) with a control surface (64) and a control valve (32) that can connect the control chamber to a low pressure region (52). The control valve is fully integrated into the fuel injector. A high pressure fuel storage device connected to the control chamber is integrated into the fuel injector. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a control valve for an inventive device.
Ein Kraftstoffinjektor (10) für eine Brennkraftmaschine umfasst eine Düsennadel (16), die mit einer Steuerfläche (64) einen Steuerraum (60) begrenzt. Ferner ist ein Steuerventil (32) vorgesehen, welches den Steuerraum (60) mit einem Niederdruckbereich (52) verbinden kann.
