Summary:An irreversible safety device is operated using a release algorithm containing data related to the safety device. Data for safety devices such as seatbelt systems may include seatbelt drawing-out length, speed, and/or acceleration. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling an irreversible safety device. Ein Verfahren zur Steuerung wenigstens einer irreversiblen Sicherheitseinrichtung in einem Kraftfahrzeug ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Steuerung unter Einbeziehung von Daten wenigstens einer reversiblen Sicherheitseinrichtung erfolgt.
