Summary:The console (10) has a loading space for accommodating objects, where a section of the console is designed as a removable box (12). The box is movable into a foot space on a side of a front seat passenger and is arranged at the bottom side. A locking device (22) is provided, where the box is locked in a locking position through the device (22). The box and/or an insert (20) exhibit several partition and/or inlaid bottom, and the insert is movable from the box. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Mittelkonsole (10) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit mindestens einem Stauraum zur Aufnahme von Gegenständen, wobei wenigstens ein Teil der Mittelkonsole (10) als ein herausnehmbarer Behälter (12) ausgebildet ist. Vorzugsweise ist der Behälter (12) aus der Mittelkonsole (10) seitlich in den Fußraum auf der Seite des Beifahrers herausschiebbar.
