Summary:A device for holding living objects during physiological measurements consists of a glass fiber reinforced plastic material forming at least 95 % of its total mass. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a carrier unit with the proposed holding device; (2) a method for measuring physiological characteristics of living objects with use of the proposed holding device; (3) application of the proposed holding device, the proposed carrier unit and the proposed measurement method with use (singly or in combination with one another) of positron emission tomography (PET), magnet resonance tomography (MRT) and electrophysiological means.
