The measurement scale rule (1) with scale markings (10) is composed of a number of segments (14-16) arranged in a longitudinal row on a number of holders (11-13) in a row along the longitudinal line (X). The butt joints (H1,H2) between the holders are offset longitudinally from the butt joints (M1,M2) between the scale rule segments. A transparent film (17) is between the segments and their holders to bond them in place. The scale rule segments and the holders are of transparent glass. The scale rule is used with a slide reader (2) and a photo-detector (22) together with a lower lamp (21). Ein Maßstab (1) besteht aus einem sandwichartigen Verbund aus aneinandergereihten Maßstab-Teilstücken (14, 15, 16), einer Zwischenschichtfolie (17) sowie aneinandergereihten Haltern (11, 12, 13). Dieser Verbund wird unter Druck und Wärme laminiert (Figur 1).
