Die Steuerhilfe ist eine auf den Skiern montierbare Baugruppe, deren Verwendung das Steuern und/oder Aufkanten der beiden Skier unterstützt, wodurch das Erlernen des Skifahrens und/oder Carvens unterstützt bzw. eine besondere Form des Skifahrens oder Carvens mit Stöcken ermöglicht wird. Die Steuerhilfe für Skier weist einen handbetätigbaren Steuerstab auf, der über ein Gelenk (1), dessen horizontale Achse senkrecht zur Längsachse des Skis ausgerichtet ist, mit einem Ski (4), einer Bindung (5), einer Platte zwischen Ski und Bindung oder einem Skischuh verbunden ist. Das Gelenk (1) kann ganz oder teilweise als Federgelenk ausgebildet sein. Als Steuerstab ist ein Skistock (7) verwendbar, der in eine am Gelenk (1) angeordnete Hülse einsteckbar ist.
