Summary:Preparation of an organo zinc compound (I) comprises demetallizing an organometal compound with a zinc salt to form (I) and a salt of the another metal, where the salt of the another metal is precipitated by adding or transferring to another solvent and removed (in which polyalkylene glycol derivative is added as additive for the removal of the residues of the metal salts) and (I) remains in solution. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for the manufacture of highly enantiomer-enriched chiral products comprising addition of (I) (prepared by the method) to aldehyde, ketone or imine; and (2) chiral products obtained by the above method, where the products have an enantiomer excess of larger than 85 (preferably 90)%. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Verfahren zur Herstellung und Aufreinigung von Zinkreagenzien. Insbesondere liefern die erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren Reagenzien, die geeignet sind, in asymmetrischen Reaktionen eingesetzt zu werden. In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform liefern die erfindungsgemäßen Methoden Verfahren zur Herstellung von Diaryl- oder Diheteroarylzink-Verbindungen. DOLLAR A Gemäß einem weiteren Aspekt der Erfindung können die nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Methoden hergestellten Reagenzien zur Synthese von chiralen Verbindungen eingesetzt werden. Die nach den erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellten Reagenzien liefern hohe Enantiomerenüberschüsse bei Additionsreaktionen an Aldehyde, Imine und Ketone unter Verwendung geeigneter Katalysatoren.
