Summary:The flow control device comprises a control element (8a) mounted in a hollow body to control a medium flowing out of the segment openings (S1 to S3) of a flow channel (SK). The control element is mounted to rotate about a rotational axis (D) running parallel to the flow direction (FR) of the flow medium. The control element can be formed as a segment of a funnel surface. Independent claim describes air duct system with flow control device as above. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Strömungssteuereinrichtung, umfassend einen Hohlkörper (H) mit mindestens zwei in diesen mündenden Segmentöffnungen (S1 bis S3) und ein in dem Hohlkörper (H) angeordnetes Steuerelement (8, 8a, 8b), wobei jede Segmentöffnung (S1 bis S3) entlang einer Fließrichtung (FR) von einem fluiden Medium durchströmt wird und das Steuerelement (8, 8a, 8b) den Fluß des fluiden Mediums aus den Segmentöffnungen heraus (S1 bis S3) steuert, wobei das Steuerelement (8, 8a, 8b) um eine parallel zur Fließrichtung (FR) verlaufenden Drehachse (D) drehbar angeordnet ist.
