Summary:In a papermaking process a wet paper web is sandwiched between an upper dewatering belt and a lower dewatering belt as it passed through a press gap formed by two press drums. One of the dewatering belts is smoother than the other. One of the dewatering belts is less air permeable than the other. The dewatering belt thickness is from 7 to 11 dtex. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pressanordnung zur Entwässerung einer Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn (1) in einer Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredlung derselben mit zumindest zwei benachbarten Pressspalten, durch die jeweils ein endloses, oberhalb der Faserstoffbahn (1) verlaufendes Oberband (2, 4) und ein unterhalb der Faserstoffbahn (1) verlaufendes Unterband (3, 5) geführt sind, wobei die Faserstoffbahn (1) zwischen einem Unterband (3) eines Pressspaltes und einem Oberband (4) des anderen Pressspaltes übergeben wird. Dabei soll die Bahnführung unter Vermeidung von saugenden Leiteinrichtungen dadurch verbessert werden, dass das die Faserstoffbahn (1) übernehmende Ober- bzw. Unterband (4) glatter als das übergebende Ober- bzw. Unterband (3) ist.
