N-(Aza-bicycloalkyl)-benzo-heterocyclic carboxamides of formula (I) and their salts, hydrates and/or solvates are new; R = aza-bicyclo(m.n.o)alkyl with 7-11 ring atoms (optionally substituted by 1-6C alkyl); m, n, o = 0-3; ring A = pyrimido; or pyrido, pyridazo or pyridazino (all optionally benzo-fused); R , R = H, halo, CHO, CONH2, CN, CF3, OCF3, NO2, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, 1-6C alkylthio, 3-8C cycloalkyl or 4-8 membered heterocyclyl; or phenyl or 5- or 6-membered heteroaryl (both optionally substituted by halo, 1-4C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, NH2, mono- or di-(1-4C) alkylamino, 1-4C alkanoylamino or 1-4C alkanesulfonylamino). An Independent claim is also included for the preparation of (I). The invention relates to novel heteroaryl carboxylic acid amides, a method for producing the same and the use thereof for producing pharmaceuticals for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of diseases and for improving perception, power of concentration, learning ability and/or memory power.
