Summary:The imaging medical diagnostic device has an electric motor (21) as a drive for moving components. The rotor (27) of the electric motor is blocked if there is no current to the motor. Preferably the motor is a sliding rotor motor. The invention also relates to a corresponding examination device and an X-ray unit in which the X-ray source or X-ray detector are moved using the inventive electric motor drive. Es ist ein bildgebendes medizinisches Untersuchungsgerät (1), insbesondere ein Röntgengerät, beschrieben, das zum Antrieb eines beweglichen Bauteils einen Elektromotor (21) aufweist, bei dem der Läufer (27) blockiert ist, wenn kein Antriebsstrom in den Elektromotor (21) eingespeist ist. Der Elektromotor (21) ist insbesondere ein Verschiebeläufermotor. Die Verwendung eines solchen Motors hat den Vorteil, dass auf den Einsatz eines selbsthemmenden Getriebes verzichtet werden kann.
