Summary:The integrated paint quality control system has a film thickness sensor system (32) to measure the paint thickness on the painted motor vehicle bodies (12), and a control system (48) which communicates with the film thickness sensor system to receive information about the film thickness and combines the paint film thickness information with painting automatization parameters on the basis of a paint identification number of the painted body, in order to control the painting process. An Independent claim is included for a procedure of the operating of an integrated paint quality control system for the painting of motor vehicles' bodies. Die Erfindung betrifft ein integriertes Lackqualitäts-Steuer(IPQC)-System (10) zur Rückkopplungssteuerung von Lackierverfahren zum Lackieren von Kraftfahrzeugkarosserien (12) mit einem Filmdickensensorsystem (32) zum Messen der Lackfilmdicken der lackierten Karosserien (12). Das IPQC-System (10) umfaßt auch ein Steuersystem (48), das mit dem Filmdickensensorsystem (32) zum Empfang von Informationen über die Lackfilmdicke kommuniziert und die Lackfilmdickeninformation mit Lackierautomationsparametern auf Basis einer Fahrzeugidentifikationsnummer (VIN) der lackierten Karosserien (12) kombiniert, um das Lackierverfahren zu steuern.
