Summary:A process for storing containers (1) that contain heat generating material, e.g. radioactive material, involves spacing the containers apart using a separating wall (2). Some of the heat generated by the containers is absorbed by the separating wall, and then emitted to the surroundings by convection. Beim Lagern der nebeneinander angeordneten Behälter (1) wird ein Anteil der von benachbarten Behältern (1) abgegebenen Strahlungswärme zwischen den benachbarten Behältern mit mindestens einer Trennwand (2) aus wärmeabsorbierendem Material absorbiert, und die absorbierte Wärme wird konvektiv an die Umgebungsluft abgegeben.
