The stub sector (9) may be in the form of a three-sided pyramid stub (13). Die Erfindung betrifft einen Spitzmeißel (2), insbesondere Einsteckmeißel, für kraftangetriebene Bohr- und Meißelhämmer zur Bearbeitung von Gestein mit einem Meißelkopf (3) mit Flächen (11, 14) und Kanten (18, 19), einem Meißelschaft (4) und einem Einspannende (5). Hierbei ist der Meißelkopf (3) im Wesentlichen pyramidenförmig ausgebildet und weist in wenigstens einem Abschnitt (8, 9) eine ungerade Anzahl von Flächen (11, 14) bzw. eine ungerade Anzahl von Schneidkanten (18, 19) auf.
