At least one of the walls is movably joined to the frame so that the capacity of the housing is variable. A movable floor (3) can be provided in the form of a trough with side walls and a floor. Es wird ein Gehäuse (1) zur Aufnahme einer elektronischen Einheit beschrieben. Dieses weist einen Gehäuserahmen (2) und eine Anzahl von mit dem Gehäuserahmen (2) verbundenen Wänden auf, die zusammen mit dem Gehäuserahmen (2) das Fassungsvolumen des Gehäuses (1) bestimmen. Das Gehäuse (1) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß wenigstens eine der Wände bewegbar mit dem Gehäuserahmen (2) verbunden ist, so daß das Fassungsvolumen des Gehäuses (1) veränderbar ist.
