Determining level of electrically conducting liquid in container involves the liquid making contact between the resistance coating of one electrode and the other electrode

The method involves determining the electrical resistance between two electrodes (3,4) covered by liquid (2) according to the level and deriving the level from the resistance, whereby an electrical resistance coating is applied to at least one electrode of electrically non-conducting bearer material...

Summary:The method involves determining the electrical resistance between two electrodes (3,4) covered by liquid (2) according to the level and deriving the level from the resistance, whereby an electrical resistance coating is applied to at least one electrode of electrically non-conducting bearer material. Electrical contact is made between the resistance coating of one electrode and the other electrode is made by the liquid. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for determining the level of an electrically conducting liquid in a container.
