Summary:Folding apparatus comprises three sheet folding rollers (6, 7, 11) and a sheet folding pocket (19), which together bound a sheet folding zone. To enable adjustment of the folding zone for different sheets to be folded or number of the folds while the apparatus is operating, so reliable feed of sheets into the pocket (19) is ensured for optimum gripping by the rollers, the zone is variable on both sides of the rollers through a pivotation of the pocket (19) and pivotation of one of the rollers (6).
