Summary: | An internal volume current (300) is used for the density fluid (3) of which has a value in an interval (I) at a predetermined value. The value is assigned to the dwelling time distribution (32) of the more dense fluid, so that the variance (s) of the dwelling time distribution as function of the internal volume current is a minimum and that on the border of known interval of internal volume current differs from the predetermined value by no more than 30%, preferably 10%. Reactive distillation in a column (1) with packing (2) as catalyst support (23) has fluid (3,4) which forms two differing density phases where packing passes. |
