Svítilna motorového vozidla obsahuje geometricky uzavřený světlovod (1) a napájecí zařízení pro světlovod (1), které obsahuje světelný zdroj (17) a světelný napáječ (4) pro přivádění světla produkovaného světelným zdrojem (17) do světlovodu (1). Světelný napáječ (4) je spojený se světlovodem (1) tak, že v místě jejich spojení je vytvořena dutina (9) tvaru hranolu s odraznými plochami (10, 11) pro totální odraz světla přiváděného světelným napáječem (4) do obou stran světlovodu (1), v níž je vložena částečně transparentní vložka (16) vytvořená z materiálu s předem určeným poměrem transparentní a kouřové složky pro řízení množství parazitního světla, které projde transparentní vložkou (16). The headlight of a motor vehicle comprises the geometrically closed light guide (1) and a loading device for the light guide (1) comprising the light source (17) and the lighting feeder (4) for supplying the light produced by the light source (17) into the light guide (1). The lighting feeder (4) is connected to the light guide (1) so that at the point of their connection there is formed the cavity (9) in the shape of a prism with reflective surfaces (10, 11) for total reflection of the light fed in by the light feeder (4) to both sides of the light guide (1), in which there is inserted the partially transparent insert (16) made of a material with a predetermined ratio of the transparent and smoke component in order to control the amount of stray light that passes through the transparent insert (16).
