In the present invention there is disclosed cartridge device enabling use thereof with injection pen (104) for administering a medicament and consisting of a cartridge system with inserted cartridge (58) having inside an axially movable rubber plunger (54) and at its one end an inlet, whereby the cartridge system has an axially movable end (71) of a piston rod being in contact with the rubber plunger (54) and being arranged for producing pressure onto the rubber plunger (54) and for expelling a medicament (70) out from the cartridge when the piston rod end (71) is axially moved. The piston rod end (71) has a recess (107), the injection pen (104) being removably coupled with the piston rod end (71) for axial movement of the piston rod end (71) during expelling the medicament (70). Said rod (108) is axially extensible with respect to the piston rod end (71). The length of extension of said movable rod (108), whose length corresponds to the injection pen (104) piston rod end (71) is less than said recess (107) axially length and the movable rod (108) is in permanent engagement with the piston rod end (71). The rod (108) is coupled with a push button (118) for moving the rod (108) by a distance being equal to the length of extension thereof, the push button (118) is coupled with the rubber plunger (54) and the rod (108) fits in the piston rod end (71).
