Preferred examples include polysoaps such as: a monovalent salt of a hydrolyzed copolymer of an alpha-olefin and maleic anhydride:, e.g., structually represented as:The copolymer forms micelles in aqueous dispersions such as toothpaste and mouthwash formulations.
