Summary: | The design concerns the device for measurement of intensity of steam condensation in vacuum devices, e.g. in distillation columns. The whole device is divided into the measuring and comparing part. The principle of the design lies in the fact that the measuring part comprises a pipe (3) from heat-conducting material, which is installed with one side into the medium (1) where intensity of condensation is measured, while this side is closed with a bottom (5), where the temperature sensor (6) is installed by means of the interior of the pipe (3). The other side of the pipe, which is exposed to the temperature of the medium, is equipped with a ribbing (4), which increases the heat transfer surface at least ten times. The comparing part comprises a pipe (7), which is installed with one side into the medium (1) where intensity of condensation is measured and this side is closed by a bottom (9). The temperature sensor (10) is installed to the bottom by means of the interior of the pipe. This side of the pipe is also equipped with a ribbing (8), which increases the heat transfer surface at least ten times. |
