Summary: | The method utilizes the properties of a soft, compact wall, at its deformation for sealing and soft and flexible clamping of a capillary tube (for example made of glass) with removed laboratory sample (for example of blood, in examining acidobasic balance in biochemical laboratory) in a way that the capillary tube is axially pressed between two compact elastic walls. The device for performing the method consists of a rod (1) equipped on both ends (2) and (3) by means of openings (4) with two sliding carriers (5), (6), equipped with openings (7) in the upper part, through which a soft elastic tube (8) is lead or in which a soft elastic matter is fixed. The carriers (5) and (6) on the rod (1) are arranged freely and movably and in order to achieve more comfortable and faster manipulation with the device it is possible to attach the ends (9), (10) of draw spring (11) on the upper ends of the sliding carriers (5) and fix one (the first) of the sliding carriers (5) by means of a screw (12). Thanks to the solution it is possible to manipulate quickly, safely and comfortably with capillary tube filled with laboratory sample. |
