Summary:The device for mounting of thermal insulation on the pipeline of great diameters, especially for long distance hydrothermal or steam-and-water heat feeders, where insulation prefabricates of mineral or glass fibres in the shape of a segment or half-centring are used for mounting. The device travels over the surface of the pipeline an its main supporting frame is equipped with the upper operating floor (3) with the rotary crane jib (4) for deposition of insulation prefabricates on the pipeline and it is further equipped with the operating floors (8), which are equipped with the stripping unit (6) for creation of circumferential down pressure on the set of insulation prefabricates. The part of the frame is the pressing unit (7), which exercises the side pressure and hence finishes pressing of the created set to the previous processed section.
