Summary:Process for the automatic return of yarn from a run-on bobbin back into the spinning rotor of a spinning station of an open-end spinning machine by the use of a supply loop which is formed during the phase of transfer of the yarn (59) into the position for a normal run, the end part of the yarn (59) being guided into the delivery tube (10) by means of a subsequent reversible movement guided through the suction region of the delivery tube (10). The apparatus possesses a suction nozzle (27) which can be changed over from a position for receiving the yarn end from the run-on bobbin (2) into a second position (II) located on its path of movement which is parallel to the position for the normal running of the yarn (5). The transfer and, at the same time, introduction means consist of a pair of introduction guides (29, 39) which are distant from one another and which are arranged with their open guide points (29a, 39a) in the direction of the path of the yarn (59) passing between said positions of the suction nozzle (27) and can be advanced simultaneously or in succession in relation to the position for the normal running of the yarn (5), the first introduction guide (29) being directed between the draw-off rollers (7, 9) of the spinning station (12) and the run-on bobbin (2), and the second introduction guide (39) being directed between the same draw-off rollers (7, 9) and the mouth of the delivery tube (10) of the spinning rotor. Between the introduction guides (29, 39), on the far side of the ... Original abstract incomplete.
