Summary:The present invention relates to a tubular sock, comprising, an instep part, a heel part, a foot part and a toe, and the method of manufacturing said tubular sock by circular knitting. This is performed in such manner, that in the instep part (2) completely knitted courses (A) alternate with at least two courses (B1, B2, B3) with an incomplete number of loops instead of which floats are present in the knitwork, e.g. in 1:1 distribution, while in the heel part (3) all courses comprise the complete number of loops.
