Summary:The invention relates to a striping device of a double-cylinder circular knitting machine for the production of hosiery goods. comprising yarn guides (15-15) and a cutting device (9) controlled by means of cams (12) of a control device, while the yarn guides (11-15) are arranged like rockable levers. The invention solves scanning of the cam surfaces and positioning of the guides (11-15) which is practically performed so that the yarn guides (11-15) in non- operative positions bear against the ends of grooves (71-75) in a rule (8) whereby their scanning noses (4) reach into the space limited by maximum and minimum diameters (RM, RO) of operative surfaces of the cams (12) which are all of the same shape and size.
