Summary:The carbon black is produced by using the heavy oil as fuel oil in a oil line. Air required for fuel oil atomization and combustion in incorporated into a system and preheated at a medium temperature, thereaftr entering the combustion furnace mixed with a fuel oil in an axial-rotation manner. The fuel oil is combusted fully in a combustion furnace. A raw oil is sprayed via a throat axis at 90 deg. The carbon black fume is cooled downstream dramatically below 980 deg.C by sprayed water. Many new process carbon blacks or ordinary carbon blacks can be mfd. using this method and apparatus, and energy saving achieved. By comparison with ordinary carbon black prodn. using routine process, new process of carbon black production or ordinary carbon black ISAF production using this invention the oil consumption is decreased by 15~20%.
