Summary:It is for calcining aluminium hydroxide into alumina with controllable amount of very low to very high content of alpha-alumina. The calcination is proceeded with two steps. Raw materials are first preheated and then sent into a fluidized bed calcination furnace. The calcined materials that may contain up to 80% alpha-alumina are sent to a cyclone. The calcined materials are put for further calcination in a rotary cylindrical kiln attached with an after cooler.
