Summary:A cathode heterotypic conducting steel rod of an aluminum cell, wherein the whole conducting steel rod is divided into three sections, a left-right symmetrical current confluence section, a current adjusting section and a current derivation section. The utility model is characterized in that the current confluence section is arranged in the middle portion of the aluminum cell cathode heterotypic conducting steel rod and the upper surface of the current confluence section is a horizontal surface. The current adjusting section whose upper surface is an inclined surface is arranged between the current confluence section and the current derivation section. As the electrical conductivity of charcoal block is lower than that of the steel rod, the confluence section of the steel rod is wider and closer to the upper surface of the charcoal block and the electric resistance is relative small. The current adjusting section is an inclined surface and the resistance is gradually increased when the current passes through relative to the middle portion, thereby gradually reducing the gradually increasing current in the traditional steel rod when passing through this steel rod, enhancing current perpendicularity, effectively adjusting the cathode current direction, reducing the current horizontal component and the magnetic disturbance to the aluminum liquid layer, enhancing production efficiency, and furthermore being simple in structure, low in cost and fast in effect.
