Summary:A device of chair-back for the chair is proposed, including a metal chair-back bracket, a backrest located in front of the supporting part of the chair-back and at the chair-back bracket, an installing seat at the back of the supporting part of the backrest, two adapters to fixedly connect the installing seat and the backrest, and two metal shaft sleeves. The chair-back bracket consists of a fulcrum shaft part that has two pivot sections, in which each shaft sleeve is provided with a muffing part on the shaft path for sleeving the pivot sections, and a fixing part that extrudes from the muffing part and is used for the connecting components at the same side to get through. After assembly, since the installing seat, the backrest and the shaft sleeve are all jointed together by the connecting components, when the backrest is pivotally swinging, the metal shaft sleeve will turn pivotally in relation to the metal fulcrum shaft part. With a result, the direct friction between the fulcrum shaft part and the plastic installing seat is avoided so that the life-span of the chair-back is prolonged.
