Summary:A centrifugal pump, consisting of a pump body with liquid feeding pipeline and liquid discharging pipeline and motor, and the said pump body is equipped with a rotor shaft which is mounted with impeller; the output shaft of the motor is connected with the said rotor shaft, the liquid discharging pipeline is mounted with a throttle valve, wherein the diameter of valve port is smaller than the diameter of liquid discharging pipeline. The beneficial effect of the utility model lies in that the liquid discharging pipeline of the centrifugal pump is equipped with throttle valve which controls the flow quantity of the pump to prevent the pump from running in a greater flow quantity, thus eliminating the overload of centrifugal pump and also preventing the centrifugal pump efficiency from reducing.
