Summary: | The utility model relates to an Ethernet isolation protector which comprises a first Ethernet interface. The utility model is characterized in that the utility model also comprises a first coupling transformer, a first photoelectric conversion module, a second photoelectric conversion module and a second coupling transformer, wherein the first coupling transformer is used for coupling Ethernet signals at the end of the first Ethernet interface to the first photoelectric conversion module through the conversion of an electromagnetic field; the first photoelectric conversion module converts differential signals from the first coupling transformer to light signals; the second photoelectric conversion module is used for converting the light signals from the first photoelectric conversion module to differential signals which are transmitted to the second coupling transformer which transmits the differential signals from the second photoelectric conversion module to a second Ethernet interface through a coupled mode. Because the Ethernet isolation protector of the utility model thoroughly isolates the electrical connection between network devices through adopting an optical or a magnetic field isolation mode, the phenomena that the network devices are damaged by thunder and lightning to a great extend can be effectively prevented. |
