Summary:The utility model relates to cooling of an internal-combustion engine of pumping liquid coolant, which particularly relates to a cooling water pump of an energy-saving internal-combustion engine. The utility model comprises a pump body, a first water inlet pipe, and a water outlet pipe, wherein the first water inlet pipe is connected to the water inlet end of the pump body. The utility model is characterized in that the utility model also comprises a second water inlet pipe and a thermostat, wherein the second water inlet is connected to a water inlet end of the pump body and the thermostat is arranged in the second water inlet pipe. The second water inlet pipe is arranged on the cooling water pump of an internal-combustion engine, and the thermostat is arranged in the second water inlet pipe. When installation is conducted, the second water inlet pipe is connected between a water sleeve of a water machine body of a cooling cycle system of the internal-combustion engine and the water inlet pipes of the heat radiator, and according to temperature of the cooling water, the thermostat in the second water inlet pipe can be automatically opened and closed. Accordingly, the cycle of the cooling water can be controlled; the cooling water can be kept at the best cooling water temperature; the internal-combustion engine is ensured to work under the best operating condition; work efficiency of the internal-combustion engine can be increased, and the service life can be prolonged.
