The utility model relates to a steaming pan preventing dry braising. A floating ball is arranged in the pan, wherein the side face of the floating ball is sealed and fixed with a conducting metal bar, and the lower end of the floating ball is sealed and fixed with a conducting metal block. An integral conducting metal sheet is fixed to the side face of the inner wall of one side provided with the floating ball and the bottom of the steaming pan, wherein the conducting metal bar at the side face of the floating ball contacts the conducting metal sheet at the side face of the inner wall of the steaming pan, and the conducting metal block at the lower end of the floating ball contacts the conducting metal sheet at the bottom of the steaming pan. The conducting metal bar and the conducting metal block on the floating ball are respectively connected with two conducting wires which are led out of the steaming pan, and the two conducting wires as a switch are connected in an alarm device at the outer wall of the steaming pan. The alarm device is adopted by the utility model to be arranged outside the steaming pan, so when water in the steaming pan can be completely evaporated, an alarm circuit emits alarming signals so that people can be reminded to notice in order to prevent food from being burnt or prevent the bottom of the steaming pan from being burnt through.
