The utility model provides a front end switch-in lead-acid accumulator, comprising an electrode which is arranged on the upper part of the front side of the front end switch-in lead-acid accumulator. The upper part of the front side of the electrode is provided with an electrode protection hole. The utility model, with a simple structure, can efficaciously reduce the contact resistance, ensure the reliability of the electrode, and avoid the bipolar short circuit caused by the external effect. The front end switch-in lead-acid accumulator can be also provided with a protection cover which is in rotary connection with the front end switch-in lead-acid accumulator. The front end switch-in lead-acid accumulator can be also provided with a discharge hole of the acid mist which is arranged in facade of the front of the front end switch-in lead-acid accumulator.
