A hook type lock core comprises a lock shell 1 and a square tongue component, wherein, the square tongue component comprises a square tongue base board 2, a square tongue 3, a poking block 4 and a poking block torsion spring 5. The square tongue base board 2 is assembled on the upper part of a lock shell 1, the square tongue 3 is mounted on the top of the square tongue base board 2, a guiding slot 6 on the square tongue base board 2 is locked on the guiding pole of the lock shell 1, a square hole 8 is mounted in a center of the poking block 4, the poking block 4 is connected with one end of the poking block torsion spring 5, the other end of the poking block torsion spring 5 is fixed on the lock shell 1, a transmission pole 9 is mounted on a poking block 5 and extends into a blocking slot 10, which is at a tail part of the square tongue base board 2, a tongue hook 11 is also mounted on the square tongue 3 and is positioned in middle of the square tongue 3 through a shaft bolt 15, a protruding edge 12 at a tail part of the tongue hook 11 is combined with an inner side of a side board, and both ends of the tongue board torsion spring 14 are connected with the bottom inner sides of the two tongue hooks 11. The hook type lock core has a good anti-theft performance, a simple transmission structure, an easy installation and a convenient application.
