Summary:A high-speed steel blade holder, comprising a base, left and right iron wedges, left and right anvil blocks, wherein the iron wedges are connected to the base cross beam by screws and nuts, compression springs are fitted on the screws; two groups of U-shaped torsion springs are pressed on both sides of the base via a baffle plate, the external bevel faces of the left and right anvil blocks fit the internal bevel faces of the left and right iron wedges by the outward elastic force of the torsion spring. During operation, the base of the blade holder is fitted over the lower anvil block of the steam hammer, the blank with high carbon and high alloy steel is placed between the left and right anvil blocks of the blade holder, so that the left and right anvil blocks and the upper anvil block of the steam hammer forge the forgings simultaneously. Through the centripetal squeezing action, the blank is forge-welded into a basic material with blade. The utility model overcomes the defects of forge-welding, assures forge-welding quality effectively, realizes the high carbon and high alloy steel blade holding process, and truly uses high-quality steel on the blade. Cutters made of the high-speed steel blade holder have a long useful life, and usually remain sharp and easy to grind, have little or no wear.
