A U-shaped clapboard covers the ends and the lower portion of a polar plate so as to separate the polar plate. The accumulator has a good anti-explosion performance and no contamination. Because the utility model has no baffle plates, the electrolyte is increased and discharge time is prolonged, thereby the utility model is applicable to electric motor cars.
