The utility model relates to a novel wire-like reflection mark suitable for underground traverse survey and extending middle waist line, which comprises essentially two parts. One is mark body, the upper part of the mark body is painted with yellow reflecting paint, and the base line of the yellow paint is even and vertical with reference axis. The lower part of the mark body consists of four red reflecting marking lines that are arranged evenly around the mark body and parallel with the reference axis. The other part is the prismatic connecting holes at both ends, and the vertical axis of the holes is at a same axial-line with the mark body. A tying wire at the connecting holes is utilized to adjust the height of the mark. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, easy carrying and operation. In addition, the distinct target can facilitate sighting and measuring edge length by plumbing reading.
