Summary:The utility model relates to an energy-saving ac contactor with the function of electric energy saving for controlling electric appliances of electromechanical devices. An energy-saving control circuit composed of a coil control circuit, a heavy current attraction circuit and a low current holding circuit is added in the existing ac contactor. When an ac control electric source is switched on, the coil control circuit provides heavy current which is needed when the ac contactor carries out attraction to a coil under the action of the heavy current attraction circuit; after the ac contactor is attracted and closed, the coil control circuit provides low current which is needed when the ac contactor carries out attraction to the coil under the action of the low current holding circuit, and the energy-saving operation of the ac contactor is realized.
