Summary:The utility model relates to the upper mould protector of a button riveting machine. The center section of the upper mould is provided with a push rod extending to the direction of a buttons flow passage and moving from top to bottom with the upper mould; a spacing guide block corresponding to the push rod is arranged on the inner surface of the upper button flow passage; the surface of the spacing guide block facing the direction of the push rod from top to bottom present an inclined step shape; the upper section is provided with a flexible block which can be retracted into the lower section of the spacing guide block when pressed down; when retracted into the lower section of the spacing guide block, the top inclined plane of the flexible block and the inclined plane part of the spacing guide block lie in the same inclined plane; the upper mould moves upwards after the upper mould is closed downwards; the thickness of the flexible block can control the upper button flow channel move to the upper mould again to avoid the damage of the upper mould.
