The furnace cover of the intermediate frequency furnace comprises a metal shell, an asbestos layer, a refractory cement layer, a plurality of fixing anchors and air outlet holes. The metal shell comprises an upper metal plate, and the upper metal plate, an asbestos layer and a refractory cement layer are sequentially stacked from top to bottom. The upper ends of the fixing anchors are fixed to the inner surface, facing the asbestos layer, of the metal shell, and the fixing anchors extend downwards from the inner surface of the metal shell, penetrate through the asbestos layer and enter and are anchored in the refractory cement layer. The air outlet holes penetrate through the metal shell, the asbestos layer and the refractory cement layer in the vertical direction.
